学びの準備 ／Prepare to learn	ねらい ／Goal In this practice, we aim to develop basic computer application skills such as information gathering, report writing, and presentation. Specifically, it involves acquiring fundamental skills related to the use of information technology, including computer operations tailored to the information environment within the institution, Japanese language processing, spreadsheet processing, presentation expression, and information gathering using the internet. メッセージ ／Message The learning from this practice will be necessary for subsequent lectures, exercises, graduation thesis, and job-hunting activities. After graduation, regardless of the profession, proficiency in using the internet and business applications will be required. The lecture content is not too difficult, so if you attend regularly and seriously engage with the assignments given, you can gain sufficient understanding and acquisition. I hope you will persevere and do your best until the end. 到達目標 ／Attainment Targets 1. Become proficient in smooth input operations through blind typing, which is fundamental to computer operation. 2. Become adept at using communication tools, including portal sites, Teams, and email, smoothly. 3. Learn to search for information efficiently on the internet and to appropriately evaluate and utilize the information gathered. 4. Learn how to use basic business software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and become fully capable of using them for report writing, graph drawing, data processing, and presentations. 5. Gain an understanding of basic information security knowledge and information ethics.

Textbook: Learn from the Ground Up! Office Basics and Information Morals Compatible with Office 365 & Office 2021 2. As for class materials, documents created with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be distributed. 3. Data files needed for assignment creation will be distributed to computers via Teams. 4. Assignments will also be submitted through Teams. 学びの手立て ／Way of learning 1. In the lecture, please make sure to adhere to the deadlines for the required assignments (homework). 2. Whenever you have the opportunity to use a computer, please devote at least 10 minutes to practicing typing. 3. Please bring the distributed reference materials and data files to every class until the end of the term. 4. Although preparatory study is estimated at about 2 hours, if your understanding is insufficient or the progress of your assignment is not as expected, please spend more time on it. 5. Do not leave any questions unanswered; ask the instructor during the lecture, and also resolve them via Teams or email. 評価 ／Evaluation 1. Typing will be evaluated through a practical exam (10%). 2. PowerPoint, Word, Excel will be evaluated through each assignment submission (60%). 3. Information ethics will be assessed through quizzes (10%). 4. The final exam will primarily cover Excel-related content (20%). The overall grade for this course will be determined by a comprehensive evaluation of items 1 through 4 above.
学びの継続 ／Continuing to learn	次のステージ・関連科目 ／Next Stage and Related Courses In this practice, having acquired knowledge in information ethics, basic computer operation skills, Japanese processing, spreadsheet processing, and the development of presentation expressions, we recommend taking "Information Science" to further deepen your understanding of IT, including the workings of computers and networks. Additionally, we recommend taking "Internet and Information Ethics" to learn about the norms and disciplines that facilitate and optimize activities on the Internet.
