学びの準備 ／Prepare to learn	ねらい ／Goal 4技能のバランスのとれた伸長を最終目標に据えながらも、本講座では基礎的な｢話すこと｣｢聞くこと」の演習活動に焦点をあてる。 メッセージ ／Message ★正当な理由なく初回講義を欠席しないこと。★本学CampusSquareをはじめ, Gmail, e-learningサイトへ日頃からアクセスし、オンラインで情報を確認する習慣を身に付けておくこと。★外国語の習得に近道はありません。日々の積み上げが大事です。真剣な中にも、楽しく学んでいける環境作りを心がけますので、みなさんの積極的な授業参加を期待しています。 到達目標 ／Attainment Targets (1)英語で自身のことや身近な人や事物について平易な英語で紹介、説明できるようになる。(2)一方、英語で話される内容を正確に聞きとり、適切に応答ができるようになる。(3)期間中、Vocab-Notebookとよぶ｢単語ノート」を自主作成し、継続的に語彙力増強に努めることができる。(4)毎週実施する語彙･表現クイズでは、8割以上の正答率をめざし努力する。
学びの実践 ／Learning Practices	授業計画 ／Class Plan テキスト・参考文献・資料など ／Textbooks, references, materials, etc. Complete Communication Book 1-Basic-(コミュニケーションのための実践演習Book 1<初級編> )、著者：James Bury、Anthony Sellick、堀内香織 共著、成美堂、2022年　※朝野書房にて販売。全受講生必携！履修確定後、教科書無しでの講義参加は認めません。 学びの手立て ／Way of learning ① ｢単語ノート｣用に学習ノートを1冊準備すること。デザイン・サイズは問わないが、ルーズリーフおよび他教科との併用ノートは不可。②授業日数の３分の１を超えて欠席すると、学則により単位は認められない。なお遅刻3回で、欠席１回とみなす。③やむを得ず講義を休む(休んだ)場合は、すみやかに所定の様式で欠席届を提出すること。④積極的な辞書利用を奨励する。しかし、辞書機能のついた通信端末機器(スマホ等)については誤認を避けるため講義中の使用を控える。⑤定期試験およびクイズ等は、原則として追･再試験は行わない。やむを得ない事情で受験できない場合は、すみやかに講師に申し出て対応を協議すること。⑥以下の行為は講義進行の妨げになるので厳に慎む：遅刻、私語、居眠り、ガム噛および飲食、携帯通信機器の不正使用、理由不明の恒常的な離席および退席。 評価 ／Evaluation ①Final Examination -30%,　②Quizzes -30%,　③Vocab-Notebook -20%, ④In-Class, Moodle Work, Speaking Activities, etc.-20% ※重要！単位取得には、①～④の課題すべてに取り組んでいることが必須。
学びの継続 ／Continuing to learn	次のステージ・関連科目 ／Next Stage and Related Courses 教科書等で扱われるトピックに関連して、より幅広い表現法に慣れるために、数多ある英語学習動画サイトなどから近似の英会話スキットをリサーチし視聴する習慣をつけるとよいでしょう。
