学びの準備 ／Prepare to learn	ねらい ／Goal This course is designed to help students improve their English speaking and listening skills and their overall ability to communicate. メッセージ ／Message Students must bring their textbook and a notebook to every class. 到達目標 ／Attainment Targets Develop autonomous learners and improve oral communication skills.
学びの実践 ／Learning Practices	授業計画 ／Class Plan テキスト・参考文献・資料など ／Textbooks, references, materials, etc. Textbook: Take it Easy, Second Edition, National Geographic Learning Students must bring a notebook to each class. 学びの手立て ／Way of learning Regular attendance and a willingness to communicate in English are crucial for this class. 評価 ／Evaluation Students will be evaluated based a variety of exams (75%) and presentations (25%). There will be one makeup exam. Missing one listening exam, however, will not have any impact on one's final grade. Points will be deducted for attendance problems. Failure to attend 2/3 of classes will result in failure. Being late three times counts as one missed class.
