学びの準備 ／Prepare to learn	ねらい ／Goal In this class, students will learn about various aspects of British and American culture, including literature, religion, language, values, history, norms, rituals, and music. メッセージ ／Message This class will be conducted entirely in English, so students should be prepared to speak meaningfully and intelligently on each week's topic. In addition, students are expected to take the initiative in doing research. 到達目標 ／Attainment Targets Students will be able to speak and write intelligently on various aspects of British and American culture.
学びの実践 ／Learning Practices	授業計画 ／Class Plan テキスト・参考文献・資料など ／Textbooks, references, materials, etc. There is no textbook, but handouts will be provided, and students are expected to do research on the various topics. 学びの手立て ／Way of learning Students will read handouts and do research on the various topics. Topics will be discussed in English during class. Students will take a mid-term exam and write a 5-page paper on a topic of their choice. 評価 ／Evaluation Class Participation-- 25% Mid-Term Exam -- 35% Final Paper -- 40%
