This course aims to familiarize students with specialized terminology and expressions commonly used in the tourism industry. Students will develop practical English skills useful for working in tourism-related sectors such as travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and restaurants.

Students will practice questions from the Tourism English Proficiency Test, and students are encouraged to aim for taking and passing the exam.

Entering the classroom after attendance has been taken will not be counted as attendance.

The Tourism English Proficiency Test is usually held twice a year. In 2025, it is scheduled to be conducted in June and October. Since many topics covered in this course overlap with the content required for the Grade 2 level of the exam, the class will also serve as preparation for the test.
