This seminar aims to further develop the basic academic skills necessary for university learning through practical activities involving the four core skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.

Students will practice how to:

read texts critically and objectively

listen carefully and summarize key ideas

express opinions effectively through presentations

write structured academic reports

Through these activities, students will deepen their readiness for more advanced academic work.

Further report writing practice and presentation preparation.
Training in effective presentation techniques.
Student presentations using PowerPoint.

Reading materials, worksheets, and other learning resources will be provided by the instructor during class as necessary.

Creating a supportive environment for discussion is important. Students should contribute to a classroom atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable speaking.

Assignments must be submitted by the specified deadline. Most assignments will be submitted during class sessions.

Even when an official absence notice is submitted, students who miss more than one-third of the classes will automatically fail the course. Tardiness counts as 0.5 absence.

Students should check the university portal system and university email at least once per day for course announcements.
